Consigning At Bee & Key
Leduc

Dropping Off

We accept drop-offs on Sundays from 12-5pm (unless we're closed for a special event or a holiday, notice will be put here), no appointment needed,

When you come in bring a maximum of one garbage bag of items, please note that we only accept drop-offs in a garbage bag (no boxes, hangers, garment bags). This helps so items do not fall out of bags, and it minimizes space needed to store your drop-off. Please label your bag with a note displaying your name, email, and phone number.

Consigning With Our Donation Program

Please note that the Leduc store does not offer a pick-up option. Any items consignors drop-off that aren't selected for sale or that don't sell will be donated. If you prefer the pick-up option you may drop-off your items at the Beaumont store which will still be offering pick-up service for people who drop-off their items there. All items that were dropped-off before Nov 7th 2021 at Leduc with pickup requests will still be honoured. BUT we will just not be accepting any more pick-up drop-offs here.

If you are seeking the Beaumont Bee & Key store's consignment information or their contact information,  it's on their website at: www.beeandkeybeaumont.ca

The Beaumont and Leduc stores have different owners, and they are managed by different teams.

At the Leduc Store consignors that drop off their items are apart of the donation program! What is this?

  • When being apart of the donate program and dropping off at Leduc, you get a TON of PERKS!

  • You still get 50% of monies your items sell for during your consignment term (industry average is 30-40%, we give you 10-20% higher!)

  • Your consignment contract term is 6 MONTHS instead of 3 MONTHS

  • Your items will have the opportunity to sell at TWO stores. Once we are noticing people are no longer trying on your items at Leduc, we will send the item to the Beaumont store to give it more of a chance to sell

  • Whenever you drop-off 7+ sell-able items for consignment at our store you get $10 store credit to shop at the Leduc store! (Max $10 store credit per season)

  • AND any items you end up donating go to Her House, a halfway house for women in Edmonton OR More Than A Fad thrift store, where all profits from the sales of the items go directly to support Adeara Recovery Centre, an addiction recovery centre for women and their children in Edmonton.

  • AND the dozens of hours we used to spend each month organizing clothing for pickup and communicating with consignors for pickup, we now get to spend instead listing more of your items for sale online too.

  • AND we get to make/update a community closet at HER HOUSE where women there can pick out clothes for themselves in a way that makes them feel special and dignified. Think of it like the second shopping trip in Pretty Women where she was treated well, and how much better and empowered that made her feel.

SO IN SUMMARY WHAT DOES ALL THIS MEAN? When you take part of the donation program your items have TWICE the chance to sell at TWO stores and for TWICE as long. And if they don't sell AT THAT POINT, you are donating to amazing local programs that support women.
