Dropping Off
We accept drop-offs by appointment only on Sundays from 12-5pm (unless we're closed for a special event or a holiday, notice will be put on our instagram).

When you come in bring a maximum of one garbage bag of items, please note that we only accept drop-offs in a garbage bag (no boxes, hangers, garment bags). This helps so items do not fall out of bags, and it minimizes space needed to store your drop-off. Please label your bag with a note displaying your name, email, and phone number.
Consigning With Our Donation Program
Please note that we do not offer a pick-up option. Any items consignors drop-off that aren't selected for sale or that don't sell will be donated to one of our chosen charities. If you prefer another option, you may want to drop-off your items at the Beaumont store which will still be offering pick-up service for people who drop-off their items there.

The Beaumont and Leduc stores have different owners, and they are managed by different teams.
At the Leduc Store consignors that drop off their items are apart of the donation program! What is this?

When being apart of the donate program and dropping off at Leduc, you get a TON of PERKS!

Your consignment contract term is 3 MONTHS.

AND any items you end up donating go to Her House, a halfway house for women in Edmonton OR More Than A Fad thrift store, where all profits from the sales of the items go directly to support Adeara Recovery Centre, an addiction recovery centre for women and their children in Edmonton.

AND we get to make/update a community closet at HER HOUSE where women there can pick out clothes for themselves in a way that makes them feel special and dignified. Think of it like the second shopping trip in Pretty Women where she was treated well, and how much better and empowered that made her feel.

SO IN SUMMARY WHAT DOES ALL THIS MEAN? When you take part of the donation program your items have an opportunity to earn you 40% of our estimated retail value, and if they don't sell, you are donating to amazing local programs that support women.
What Items We Are Looking For
We seek freshly laundered and in-season casual items in excellent condition. We seek items 3 or less years old or unique vintage items. We specialize in higher end casual wear and street wear. We do not accept formal wear, jewellery, underwear or socks, western wear jeans, or work wear. We don't accept brands such as Joe, George, Old Navy, Shein, Bench, Joseph Ribkoff, Guess, Volcom, Hurley, Anne Klein, True Religion, Nygard, Le Chateau, Northern Reflections, TanJay, or Tahari.

Check these criteria for your items before you put them in the bag:

Freshly Laundered

Free from dog/cat hair

Item is in great condition (Stain-free and ESPECIALLY no deodorant stains, no holes or loose seams, no missing buttons or broken zippers, no scuffing on the shoes, no dirt)

Item smells nice (not sweaty, musty or smokey)

No pilling, make sure to rid of pilling with fabric shaver
Additional Information
Communication and Payment Methods:
We communicate with all consignors through email and text, additionally all payouts are made through e-transfers. We provide consignors with consignor accounts that they can review the status of their items, therefore we do not message consignors to update them on the status of their items.

Consignment Process:
We will sort through, price, steam and put out the items we select to sell within 21 days of drop-off. We will provide you the contract at drop off via our texting service, and we will message you with your consignor portal account credentials, once your items have been processed so you can log in and review the status of your consigned items. Your consignment term is 3 months long. Any items not selected for sale or that don't sell at the end of the consignment term will be donated to Her House (local Halfway House for women) or More Than A Fad Thrift Store (where all profits are donated to Adera Recovery Center that supports women and their children struggling with addiction).

Payment:
You receive 40% of the sale price of your item in a cash payout. You can use your payout in store as credit or can request an e-transfer. Your credit does not expire.

To speak with the staff that handle your consignment, you can email us (at beeandkeyboutique@gmail.com) or text us (at 587-740-0058) and we will get back to you within the next Bee&Key business day, or you can come in on drop-off days (Sundays) when the consignment staff are in-store to help you in person.

Your Consignor Account:
We aim to be as transparent as possible! That is why we provide all consignors with an account to monitor the status of their items. Upon starting to consign with us, you will be provided with your login credentials so you can check in on each of your items whenever you'd like!

Understanding Terms On Your Consignor Account:
Consignor Credit: the amount you have accumulated from the selling of your items (this is paid out via e-transfer, or you can use if for purchases in store at any time)
In Stock: The items of yours that are on the floor out for sale.
Expired: The items of yours that have expired, but are still on the floor out for sale.
